Languages

I think that it's funny how countries are so close to each other but they all have their own language.
For example, Luxembourg. They have their own language, Luxembourgish, but only 576, 249 people live there (that's an estimation). But Luxembourgish sounds like German, because they're right next to Germany. Their motto is "Mir wëlle bleiwe wat mir sinn"(We want to remain what we are).
It's weird how Maltese, Tongan, and Hawaiian are languages. Malta's smaller than Nassau County, Long Island! Tonga is, too! But Hawaii is not. But it's still very small.
Have you heard of Corsica before? If you haven't, now you do. It's an island that's part of France and it's in the Mediterranean Sea. But they speak there own language there: Corsican.

All the stuff I said about how it's silly that places that have low populations have there own languages, I don't think that anymore. Because if you were a person on Corsica in 5000 b.c., you wouldn't be able to get to France. So then you would come up with your own language.
