The Ministry of Silly Walks skit is so funny. Why would there be a whole ministry devoted to making silly ways to walk? And one of the guys in the skit says, "I'm looking for a grant to develop my new silly walk." Why would that guy need a grant? He could just show the walk to the head of the Ministry of Silly Walks and if he likes it, then it'll be a new walk and if he doesn't like it, then it won't.
Another silly part to this skit is the secretary. The head of the Ministry of Silly Walks (the actor who does him is John Cleese, so I'll just call him that) asks his secretary to bring him coffee, so she does, but since she's doing a silly walk and carrying the plate that the coffee's on, the cups get knocked over and the coffee spills. Why would the secretary do a silly walk? It's so inconvenient.
